Camelot
Reason for living here: King Arthur lives here and you can joust all day long!
Camelot comes from legendary British tales of King Arthur – who may, or may not, have been real. In Camelot we find Arthur’s famous round table where his knights get to sit around like equals and have a few beers while they discuss their latest knightly conquests. Camelot is surrounded by forests and rivers, so you can get in a spot of fishing and hunting if it floats your boat. Justice and peace reign in Camelot. Oh – and the ultra-hot (in a medieval way) Guinevere lives there too!

They make us wonder about the future and to seek out fulfillment in past events. Most of us are familiar with Nostradamus and his predictions – hundreds of books have been written about them, in fact, so rather than rehash a tired old topic (which has actually been debunked in part here) we are presenting a list of prophesies that, hopefully, most of you have never heard of. Most of you probably know that caterpillars turn into butterflies, and maggots into houseflies; both examples of an animal transforming from a “larval” to “adult” stage. Besides these famous insects, however, are thousands of other species who undergo bizarre and extreme transformations during their life cycle. Larval stages are especially extreme in creatures of the sea, and sea life will be constituting almost all of this list.

Top 10 Experimental Films
Known to some as “avant-garde” and to others as “underground”, there is a distinct genre of film known as “experimental” that exists solely to further and explore the process of filmmaking. Usually made by artists who operate outside of the commercial mainstream, experimental films are usually made cheaply with very low budgets. They frequently contain non-linear approaches to storylines, radical filmmaking techniques, and a blatant disregard for the cinematic status quo. The world of experimental film is so vast and unique that it can be next to impossible to pin down which films qualify as part of the genre. After all, if a mainstream Hollywood film utilizes new or bizarre camera techniques, does that make it experimental? Does a film have to be made on a nearly non-existent budget for it to qualify as experimental? Does a film need to be made by an underground artist for it to count? These are all questions that dominate those who try to define just what encapsulates experimental film. However, there are certain films that have been widely embraced as pinnacles of the genre. Below, I have gathered ten such films and have arranged them in chronological order of their release dates.

What if dinner wasn't just dinner, but entertainment to boot? These 10 restaurants from around the world offer just that: An experience in addition to your meal at no additional charge. They're all a little bit wild, and completely unforgettable. Dinner is served in the dark or in the dungeon, and drinks come via drip or presented by trained monkeys. Sure, you could choose a restaurant based on the quality of its food, but where's the fun in that? Just watch out for the ninjas.
Walking into this prison themed restaurant is like stepping onto the set of an old-fashioned, blood-curdling horror movie. The bar looks like it's been carved into a cave-like dungeon, there are skull-shaped lights with handcuffs hung beneath them, and the tables are in cells complete with bars, of course. Order up the cocktail called "Human Experimentation" (served as a set of beakers) or the "Life Sentence," followed by the human specimen salad (which is really just greens topped with grilled chicken) or Dracula's dinner platter (a spread of chicken wings, salads, grilled vegetables). Just don't tell them it's your birthday, or they'll send a "monster" out to sing to you.

Have you ever noticed that tourists try to get a picture near every boring sculpture or statue they can find? Most of the time, they don’t even care who made it, or why it is there in the first place.
The worst part of it is when your friends come back from vacation, and you have to watch all those crappy DSC0001.jpg, DSC0002.jpg… DSC1562.jpg files.
In order to show how pointless it is – every time I travel I ask people to take pictures of me near garbage bins.
However, there are some truly amazing exceptions I must say, and I’ve put them all in this little list of Strangest Sculptures from Around the World. Hope you like it, but if you miss some great sculpture here – don’t be angry, just share it by leaving a comment!

With great power comes great responsibility – but try telling it to someone working in advertising field in the early 20th Century. Even today, advertising is far away from being in conformity with high moral standards, but after looking back to some offensive, racist and sexist vintage ads – today’s ads are as good as gold.
Besides being discriminating, vintage ads were also full of lies. Interesting fact – the first American advertising to use a sexual sell was created by a woman – for a soap product.

Furniture of French artist Michel Haillard – can be said that it is unusual, interesting, a bit intimidating, luxurious, but most of all it is very authentic. Haillard does not stop only on the skin of crocodiles, zebras, ostrich… he inserts in his furniture other details such as animal horns, tusks and tails. Furniture is not completely made of natural fur, but it is combined with wood, bronze and silver. Enjoy.

Meet the “Beetle”.
Built by Jered Industries in Detroit for General Electric’s ominous — and very Metal Gear-sounding — Nuclear Materials and Propulsion Operation division, the Beetle was a mechanical terror designed for the Air Force Special Weapons Centre, initially to service and maintain a planned fleet of atomic-powered Air Force bombers. According to declassified Air Force reports, work began on the “mech” in 1959, and it was completed in 1961.
